Head of Strategic Fleet Management (m/w/d)

DO WHAT YOU LOVE:

  • Strategic Fleet Planning: Develop and execute long-term fleet strategy based on market insights and utilization potential to guide vehicle acquisition for all European markets.
  • Commercial Targets: Define top-line goals based on market demand and operational efficiency to inform financial forecasting and annual budgeting processes as well as to establish performance targets for commercial departments.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of fleet planners through direct and indirect leadership.
  • Optimization & Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with Product department to continuously optimize systems and processes matching fleet with demand and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with the board and other top executives to develop and present fleet strategy, provide data-driven insights, and support decision-making processes. Influence senior stakeholders to ensure fleet strategy is aligned with the overall business vision and objectives.

COME AS YOU ARE:

  • You have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • You bring at least 5 years of experience in fleet management, strategic planning, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • You have excellent analytical skills and enjoy analyzing complex data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions. Furthermore you have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the car rental industry, including customer preferences and emerging trends.
  • You are an effective communicator, fluent in English, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to senior management; proficiency in German is a plus but not required.
